What if i miss a dose of aimovigAimovig has changed my life. I had excruciating, debilitating migraines multiple times a month. Nausea, vomiting, pain for days. I was frequently visiting urgent care clinics to get any kind of relief. Then my doctor had me try Aimovig. It has changed my life. I get a couple very mild headaches monthly now that are easily managed with a triptan rescue med. No this med cannot possibly work for everyone, but it worked for me. Worth trying. The only reason I gave it 4 stars for ease of administration is because you have to inject yourself monthly with the dose prescribed-the injection pen that Aimovig comes in makes it easy to use-but its still a self-administered shot. I have been taking Aimovig 70mg subcutaneous for 11 months. I have had mild to no side effects only noticing difficulty losing weight and infrequent dizziness. Drastic improvement in my quality of life. Ended up in the ER a week after injecting it with heart palpitations and bp out of control. Now severe constipation.
